Model Update
No nonsense 2×4 and 4×4 strength with modern comfortable interiors are why the latest Nissan Navara vehicle is such a success. Built for the toughest conditions, the Nissan Navara gets the work done with minimal fuss.
Standout features for this year are things like: a 3-tonne towing capacity, a lusty class leading turbo-diesel engine, advanced safety features, a balanced ergonomic dash, smooth detailing, chrome trim, alloys, power outlets and keyless remote control entry.
You’ve got it covered with the Navara. Performance leaves other real utes breathless, and the rugged chassis knows how to find the traction off-road. Solid control at high-speed, and an exact engine and transmission presentation create a complete performance for the working man and woman who love to go bush in the weekend.
At first glance, you see a crew cab pickup truck with loads of features. And,the closer you look, the more you begin to find. The Nissan Navara is a tough muscular truck with loads of style. Some excellent exterior items are the Nissan designed C-channel load anchorage system at the rear, a rugged tray deck and an optional roof rack for additional cargo. The Navara has to be one of the best looking pickups around.
The Nissan Navara range features plenty of power and torque. The Navara range is a strong ute that is such a loyal and robust working companion. A powerful V6 petrol or brawny turbo-diesel lies under the bonnet, ready to perform. Nissan’s latest generation 4.0-litre V6 petrol engine is available on all Dual Cab models, and it’s a true beauty. A maximum 198 kW of power and 385 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm proves the potency that lies within this refined and stylish truck. The 2.5 litre turbo diesel offers Nissan’s latest generation common-rail technology. It is no slouch, and comes with 126 kW of power and 403 Nm of torque! The diesel graces the Dual Cab and King Cab models. Naturally, being diesel, this engine returns impressive fuel economy and reliability. Needless to say, you will have the power to impress in any Navara, as all models (excluding the 4×2) can tow a massive 3000kg. If you enoy getting into the rough stuff off-raod, then the Navara may well tread where few can follow. A limited slip-diff will get you out of most sticky situations with ease. Switching from 2 to 4 wheel drive has never been easier in the Navara. All it takes is the twist of a dial and the toughest terrain isn’t so tough anymore.
Inside, you’ll find the Navara is as practical and functional as it is outside. But just because you’re working hard doesn’t mean you shouldn’t enjoy a few creature comforts. Even the base model comes standard with a CD player and AM/FM radio, air-conditioning and plenty of clever storage compartments all around the cabin space. The Nissan Navara’s interior has dual zone climate control, cruise control, and comfortable and well designed seats with the option of leather. The front seats are powered and heated, while the rear has a 60/40 split bench seat, thick rich carpeting, and an in-dash CD auto-changer with steering wheel controls, tilt steering, air conditioning, electric sunroof and fold flat passenger seat.
Your safety isn’t compromised in the Nissan Navara either, with front and rear crumple zones. There is ABS, anti-lock brakes, and EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution) – that balances the braking effort between all four wheels to enhance maximum braking and control. Front driver and passenger airbags as well as side and curtain airbags are included.
Drive one of the best and you will be impressed. You will quickly realize that the Nissan Navara isn’t any ordinary mundane truck.
