In the past, diesel engines were written off as noisy and smelly. But recent technological advancements, over the last couple of decades, have eliminated these drawbacks. With the reworked 1.9-litre turbo-diesel engine, revised gear ratios, tweaked aerodynamics, low-resistance tyres and a ‘recommended gear’ display on the dash you’ll enjoy the A3 1.9 TDI driving experience. A CO2 figure of 119g/km allows the Audi A3 1.9 TDI to be one of the environment’s friendliest cars.
